Zoe Catherine was born September 18, 2010.

She weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces. She was 18.5 inches long.

Now it's almost 4 weeks later and she weighs over 7 pounds and is at least 20 inches long.

Week 17 video

First timer

So...after reading tons of people's blogs, I have decided to create one for us. We're expecting our first child and have a few videos (thanks Adam Seigal) and some photos chronicling the pregnancy. What better way than to share with our family and friends?

We're expecting this baby (sex: unknown) on September 25, conveniently (?) on the same day my colleague, Paige Madrid, gets hitched! Needless to say, it'll be a long, hot summer for the one of us who's gaining the weight. We did get to swim in the pool yesterday which took a load off of both our shoulders.

The next big project is to get the baby's room up to date. We're going to paint it yellow and brown and have pale green accents in the room. Guess we should get moving on that project?
