Trip to Maggie Valley, NC

So...in an attempt to rest and relax before we open for fall, we went to Maggie Valley, North Carolina for a long weekend. We definitely rested and relaxed, and had a great time.  Zoe got to stick her feet in a creek for the first time, and we added another state to her list by visiting Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant in Sevierville, TN.

We stayed at Twin Brooks Resort and really enjoyed the cooler weather.  On the way home, we stopped in Asheville, NC and Spartanburg, SC, where we stopped at the famous, "Beacon Drive In."

People in Pigeon Forge only eat pancakes.

We love Big Brown Truck (And JimDaddy driving it)

Checking out the bears

Gorgeous.

Jeans in the summer?! Only in the mountains of NC!

And...if you're patient...here's a video with black bears we saw on the side of the road coming home from TN to NC.  Amazing.
